ARISE will be training in Washington D.C. next week. The Foundation’s unique, comprehensive, dynamic training programs teach people that work with at-risk youth how to impart vital life skills to the people under their care. Using an interactive, friendly, supportive approach, juvenile officers and staff become mentors, changing the atmosphere inside juvenile justice facilities for the better. The ARISE program provides structure and opens the lines of communication, keeping boredom at bay and eliminating misbehavior. Kids feel unintimidated and valued, allowing them to express themselves and open their minds to important knowledge.
